Recorded with award winning producer Jonathan Burnside (Fu Manchu, The Melvins, Kurt Cobain, Faith No More, The Living End, The Sleepy Jackson, The Grates, Dan Sultan, Grinspoon and more), Slow Chase are due to release their debut The Blind Spot EP in early 2012.

Slow Chase formed in 2010 after a chance meeting between British singer Adam Gresty and Australian drummer Emily Shaw at an Elvis tribute night. Adam explains, “As a life-long devotee of the king I was horrified at the lack of respect being shown by the so called tribute acts - being a few tequila’s deep, I just decided to take matters in to my own hands”. According to Emily, “The first time I set eyes on Adam he was shoulder barging some really awful Elvis impersonator off stage - half way through a song. He then completely stole the show with a killer version of Way Down. I spoke to him afterwards and he mentioned he was looking for a drummer - I was like, hello fate”.
